A man involved in a dragging incident in Kemper County has now been released from the hospital. It happened May 16 just outside Scooba.
Kemper County Sheriff James Moore said the victim has been released from the hospital after undergoing a number of surgeries for his injuries.
Moore said it's too early to know whether or not the victim will be able to walk again.
So far, three arrests have been made. 24-year-old Lenard Colvin, 20-year-old Kyrell Payne and 23-year-old Marcus Payne, all from Emelle, Ala., are facing charges in the case.
The sheriff said another arrest is possible.
According to investigators the man was caught and dragged from a car for a about a mile and a half, allegedly after an altercation outside a nightclub. The October grand jury is expected to hear the case.
