An apparent mix-up in the Lauderdale County Circuit Court led to the wrong person being shown on the Crime Net segment Thursday night.
Officials with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department say the court wrongly issued a warrant for the arrest of Stephen Dewayne Locklear.
It was actually his cousin, Glenn Franklin Locklear, who had been indicted.
"After reviewing some court documents this morning, it was determined that in the Circuit Court's office, after a grand jury, the wrong name and picture appeared on an indictment," said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun. "Stephen Dewayne Locklear has done nothing."
Officials are still looking for Glenn Franklin Locklear. If you have any information on his whereabouts, call Crimestoppers at 485-1860.
