Monday marks the first official day on the job for the newly elected mayor of Philadelphia. With his first meeting with the Board of Alderman set for Tuesday, Mayor James Young says he's preparing to request some changes in appointments.
"There will be some changes, but again I'm going to need the Board of Alderman's help to make those changes. There will be recommendations. All of my recommendations probably will not be agreed upon, but that's politics."
The newly elected Board of Alderman in Philadelphia will hold its first meeting Tuesday night at 6. At that time Mayor Young says he will request some department head changes, but at this time he is not saying exactly what those may be.
