Fall Semester Coming Fast

Summer may be in full swing right now, but fall classes are set to get underway next month at Meridian Community College.

MCC officials were on hand Tuesday to make sure incoming freshman students have what they need for a successful school year.

Orientation is one way students get a jump-start. They get their schedules, have questions answered, as well as making sure they can find their way around campus.

"I am planning on majoring in Construction Trade and Industrial Maintenance," said freshman Mykel Sullivan. "I have to continue my education as much as I can."

"It's an important thing for new students coming into school to get your schedules, their classes together so you know were everything is," said Rachel Harris, student volunteer.

Fall classes will begin August 17.
