MPD Seeks Burglary Suspect

Meridian police have released surveillance images from a burglary late last month, hoping someone can identify the suspect.

A thin white male in his late teens or early twenties used bolt cutters to break open a computer storage case at the Bonita Wal-Mart. It happened between 11 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. June 28.

Officials say store security gave chase but the suspect was able to get away with a laptop computer.

He wore shorts and a white T-shirt, and had a cast on his right arm.

The suspect drove a way in a silver Nissan pickup truck.

Some store security- "security gave chase" The 2 images of him near the door does not even show the security people close behind. Got him on camera doing it and still could not get him before he left-haha. Isn't that why they have cameras to watch the isles? Why not get him while he was breaking in instead of right when he gets to the door? Where are the workers? All gathered out in one isle talking?
