Authorities were searching Monday for two state inmates who escaped from separate facilities.
Officials say Raphael Taylor, 22, escaped from the Pearl River County jail in Poplarville Friday. He was serving a five-year sentence for a vehicle burglary in Lauderdale County.
Inmate Randy N. Blansett didn't return to the Chickasaw County Jail in Houston after a pass on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Blansett is serving a three-year sentence for two felony DUI convictions, one each in Monroe and Chickasaw counties.
A Mississippi Department of Corrections spokeswoman said anyone with information about the two should alert their local authorities.
