Mississippi's state-licensed casinos recorded a 20 percent slide in money won from gamblers in June.
The Mississippi State Tax Commission says gamblers lost $189.7 million last month compared with $237.3 million in June 2008.
For the latest month, casinos along the Mississippi River won $105.6 million, down from $120.9 million a year ago. Casinos along the Gulf Coast recorded a slide to $84.1 million from $116.4 million.
In May, Mississippi casinos won $222.7 million, a drop from the May 2008 figure of $235.7 million.
