Two Charged in FBI Raid

The FBI finally released information about arrests it made Aug. 5 in Lauderdale County.

Officials say Lachristopher Russell, 28, of Meridian, and 25-year-old Rantrese Smith of Houston, Tex., are charged with "conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine".

United States Magistrate Linda R. Anderson ordered that Russell and Smith be held without bond until a detention hearing, set for Wednesday.

The FBI says the Jackson Violent Crimes Safe Streets Task Force, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol, and the Madison, Miss., Police Department participated in the arrests.

If you must know Marie, the reason the FBI was invovled is because it was drug, the guy deals in drugs big about if you get on your "A" find out the facts and then post a comment. Also, "every" city or town has drugs, but the "bigh" or "major" drug dealers will always come down first. Also, the person they arrested was armed so please, find out more information before you start to run your mouth.
