Public Hearing to Focus on Needs of the Poor

A public hearing to discuss the legal needs of poor people in the state will be held in Meridian next week.

The meeting of the Mississippi Access to Justice Commission will be held at Union Station Aug. 27, starting at 4:30 p.m.

Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Jess Dickinson will be the moderator. It is open to the public.

The meeting will be the final in a series of meetings held across the state over the last several months.
