Some Lauderdale County elementary students will have book bags and other school supplies this year, thanks to a donation made Friday by local businesses.
The Rush Hospital Emergency Room and Bott-Harper Real Estate teamed up to get school supplies for needy students at Northeast Elementary School.
Specifically, the book bags will help special needs children who are taught at Northeast.
These two businesses say they plan to donate school supplies throughout the year.
