Boy Scouts Start Big Fund-Raiser

You can expect the Boy Scouts to be knocking on your door sometime in the near future.

Scouts began the organization's annual popcorn sale Thursday.

Boy Scouts will be all over the community over the next several weeks, selling popcorn to raise money for scouting.

"This popcorn sale helps fund the council and the scouts," said Nolan Reynerson. "It keeps Camp Binachi alive and well and running. And also gives the scouts an opportunity to go on trips and camps and all the different things that they do. "

Popcorn will also be on sale at every location of Citizens National Bank. Local scouts have set a goal to sell $175,000 worth of popcorn this year.
