Meridian police detectives say they have identified a suspect in an attempted ATM burglary. They credit media broadcasting of surveillance images and information from concerned citizens in identifying Dustin R. Forrester.
Investigators say they believe Forrester tried to break in to the ATM at Meridian Mutual Federal Credit Union Aug. 24.
Forrester is described as about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with a tattoo on his upper right arm.
Police say they don't think he is a threat to the public. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.
