Organizers of the Nashville Songwriters night at the Temple Theater in downtown Meridian are pleased to see the attraction catching on among local residents.
Saturday night the evening of story telling and music saw one of its largest crowds to date. Performing this month were John Kennedy, of Meridian, Archie Jordan and James Slater. The artists performed their songs and also told stories about how they were created. The show cost ten dollars to see and started at seven in the evening. The Nashville Songwriters night is held once a month at the Temple Theater.
