Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center remembered Breast Cancer Awareness Month Tuesday.
The hospital unveiled a new carousel horse, designed to draw attention to the issue of fighting breast cancer.
The unveiling was part of the hospital's opening of its Breast Cancer Center. Hospital officials say the horse will be a reminder of just how many people are affected by the disease.
The carousel horse is located outside the emergency department ambulance entrance. It's part of the Around Town Carousels Abound project, which is a fundraiser for Hope Village for Children.
