One of the two inmates who escaped Friday from the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Ellisville is back behind bars.

Deputies say 33-year-old Claude Johnson of Laurel was captured Monday.

Previously serving time for commercial burglary, Johnson will now face additional charges of residential burglary and escape.

Deputies tell the Laurel Leader-Call Johnson and 17-year-old Ira Hadley, Jr., of Laurel escaped Friday afternoon from the recreational area after jumping the fence.

Hadley, who was in the facility since July for armed robbery, remains at large.
