Attorney General Jim Hood says employees from his office will mail or deliver packets of information to churches, community centers, nonprofits and locations in smaller, more rural communities.
Representatives from the Hood's office will visit locations throughout the state during November and December.
Hood says the initiative will inform residents about victim compensation services, consumer protection, cyber crime, domestic violence, child desertion and Medicaid fraud.
