The Mississippi Department of Health announced it has reached agreements with some pharmacies to help distribute Tamiflu and Relenza, two medications used to treat H1N1 flu symptoms.
The medications will come from state and federal stockpiles, and will be used for patients who cannot otherwise afford them.
According to the state health agency, patients must bring a doctor's prescription to selected pharmacies to receive the medicine, along with documents stating they belong in a high-risk category.
