A Meridian restaurant is honoring the nation's veterans and active duty military in a special way Wednesday, Veterans Day.
Applebee's will offer them a free entree from a special menu, as a way to say thanks for their service.
Over 1900 Applebee's are participating across the nation.
"We're doing this, because Applebee's supports the community," said Eddie Cook, Applebee's regional manager. "The military is just a part of the neighborhood and we want to do something. We're just honored to be able to support our military and do something good for them."
Active duty and retired military personnel just need to show proof of military service. Details and the menu are available by clicking the link below.
