Many residents in the Valley Road Mobile Home Park in Lauderdale County have been keeping an extra eye on the property, after several residents had their homes burglarized in recent weeks.

Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said he hopes residents can relax a bit knowing three suspects charged earlier this week with a commercial burglary,
Charles Brock, Antonio Brown and Dominete Tubbs, have additionally been charged with breaking into residences.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department says investigators are looking into other property crimes to see if the men were involved. They are asking that residents turn in any helpful information.

Officials say these cases have been difficult to make because the suspects live at the mobile home park.

Calhoun said one way to protect your items in the case of theft is to keep the serial numbers to your more expensive items on hand.

Is Ward powdering his head? Something looks different. No shine. He is still the cutest little chief deputy in the county.
