Two Charged in Equipment Theft

Band equipment that was stolen from a community hall has been recovered by authorities, and two suspects face charges.

19-year-old Jerry Trent Ellingburg and 18-year-old Robert Austin Scribner are charged with burglary.

Officials say they stole music equipment from the Grand Oaks Bluegrass and Gospel Hall in the Whynot community around Nov. 10.

"Both of these individuals could be facing up to seven years in prison, based upon state statute, if convicted of this crime," said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun.

Calhoun said the band equipment was recovered from two locations. He said it belongs to a group that was to use it at Southeast School's Veterans Day program. Instead the band had to use borrowed equipment.

I know those two guys from school and they are no doubt guilty. They had bad attitudes and were lazy and didn't keep a job. IT was a matter of time before the stupid came out in them.

Wonder why the usual suspects have not jumped all over this story and found the young suspects in this story guilt and sentenced them to the electic chair.
