Some local students got a chance to learn a lesson in business from some of this area's most successful business people Friday.
Gus Lisi, owner of a number of Meridian restaurants, spoke to students taking part in a half day business camp at Meridian Community College.
Lisi spoke to the students about marketing a business, taxes and licensing, and how to develop contacts for businesses, all skills these future entrepreneurs could use.
"If we don't get these young students going, we're going to be stuck with a bunch of dummies," said Lisi. "I do it behind the counter all the time, I try to give wisdom I got to others, not just keep it to myself, I want to give it to others. That's what it's all about.
Several other young entrepreneurs currently in business in Mississippi and Alabama also spoke to students.
