An enterprise woman celebrated a very special birthday. Mrs. Eunice Edmonson celebrated her one hundredth birthday in front of many friends and family in enterprise. She worked for more than thirty years as a teacher in Mississippi, taught music and also reported for a local newspaper. Her sons shared some of their best memories of their mother.
"She had been a reporter for the paper for so many years. I thought she had given that up. And the many things she had done along the way that has amazed me, her vitality, her memory and her recollection," said her eldest son, Howard Edmonson.
"Well she was always demanding, she made sure we all went to church, and we'd go to church whether we had the chance to ride or walk. It was nothing for us to walk three miles to church,"said another son, Howard Edmonson.
Mrs. Edmonson has six children, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Her actual birthday is November thirtieth.
