A minor train derailment in Meridian caused a major inconvenience Thursday.
Traffic had to be shut down for some time on part of 18th Avenue, as a crane was brought in to get a railroad engine that had derailed back on the tracks.
It happened on the M & B, near the 18th Avenue bridge. There were no injuries.
