Ashley Donates Furniture to Guardsman's Family

A Meridian company is supplying the furniture for the family getting a new house from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The episode is being shot right now in Hattiesburg.

Ashley Furniture Home Store has locations in Hattiesburg and Meridian. Its owners, Bo and Adam Pennebaker, are from Meridian.

They have donated several thousand dollars worth of furniture and accessories to the extreme makeover being done for the family of a Sherman Heathcock, a national Guard member deployed in Iraq.

Employees from the Meridian and Hattiesburg stores will be on site Wednesday as the furniture is delivered.
