Students Carol at City Hall

Employees at Meridian's temporary city hall got a treat Tuesday. The Northwest Middle School Singers stopped by to sing Christmas carols.

The seventh and eighth grade students produced a lot of smiles.

"We decided to do an event over the holidays to have kids think about what Christmas is all about," said Barbara Sanders. "And this is a great way for them to reach out to the community and give back to the community."

Sanders said this was an opportunity for students to connect with their community and reflect on their blessings.
