Pastors from all denominations celebrated Christmas with local children.
The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance is involved in community service throughout the year.
It hosted a Christmas party Thursday night for underprivileged children.
The alliance raises money during the year so that kids can have a good Christmas meal and receive some gifts.
"And that's just a part of what we are doing, is just showing our community, reaching out to our children, and letting them know that we care, we love them, especially during this economic time," said the Rev. Gary Houston. "When so many have lost their jobs, so many having difficulties, just making a Christmas."
The alliance organizes other events throughout the year as well. This year it provided needy kids and families with Thanksgiving dinners.
