LCSO Investigates School Break-In

An investigation is underway into an early morning break-in at Southeast High School and Elementary School.

Deputies responded around 3 a.m. when the alarm went off at the high school.

They discovered that the office at Southeast High had been burglarized and that several items had been stolen from the nearby elementary.

"From the elementary office, they took two small lap top computers and an undetermined amount of cash," said LCSO investigator Charles Pickett. "At this time we're asking for the community's help. If anybody has any knowledge about this crime committed at Southeast school please give us a call."

Pickett says investigators were able to collect some physical evidence from the scene.

Tips may be reported to Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.
