Peavey Electronics continued a tradition of giving to Wesley House. This Christmas, it donated a sound system, an Escort Portable Sound System, to be used at its 'Playground for Jesus'.
"We've always had to borrow sound systems, so we're looking forward to using this on our Playground for Jesus," said Wesley House executive director Ginger Stevens. "We can also use it for other ministries that we have going around Wesley House."
"Peavey has a long-standing tradition of giving to Wesley House at the Christmas season. We thought this would be a great project to continue that tradition," said Julie Moscal, Peavey's customer service manager.
Stevens said she's grateful for the donation.
"It means a lot because Wesley House is a community center, and if the community doesn't support it then we don't need to be here," said Stevens. "The fact that Peavey Electronics, they are huge, internationally, that they have chosen to donate to Wesley House. It means everything to me and to the staff and to those of us who are behind Wesley House. It shows support."
This easy-to-transport sound system comes with everything that's needed. It includes two speakers with stands, an audio mixer, a microphone, and cables.
