A date has been set for public comment about Mississippi Power Company's application to operate an integrated gasification combined cycle plant in Kemper County, or the lignite plant.
Central District Public Service Commissioner Lynn Posey says the Mississippi Public Service Commission will hear from members of the general public Friday, Feb. 5, at 9 a.m. in the Public Service Commission Hearing Room, located on the first floor of the Woolfolk State Office Building in Jackson.
The PSC will resume hearings on the Kemper County plant Monday, Feb. 1 at 9:00 a.m.
