Road Conditions Contribute to Wrecks

The heavy rains Friday afternoon led to a number of accidents on roads in east Mississippi.

One of those accidents happened around 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 20/59, near the 164 mile marker.

The driver of the vehicle hydroplaned, left the road and hit a tree. She was not seriously injured.

Officials warn drivers to be very careful when roads are wet.
