The Meridian Exchange Club held its annual law enforcement awards luncheon Tuesday at Rush Hospital.
The club honored as its law enforcement officers of the year: Corporal Jason Jimison of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Senior Patrol Officer Patrick Gale of the Meridian Police Department, and Deputy Brandon Harper of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
"The Exchange Club is about service to our community," said club member Wallace Heggie. "And law enforcement is a major part of our community. We wanted to say thank you to the guys for what they have done."
The awards are named for former Lauderdale sheriff, and later circuit clerk, Raymond P. Davis.
