Two Held in Burglary Investigation

Two men were in custody Thursday evening, in relation to a string of burglaries across the area. Formal charges were not immediately filed.

However, Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says a large amount of stolen property has been recovered.

Authorities say the items include guns, GPS devices, and other electronics. Calhoun said he believes the property was taken during car burglaries and from garages.

"Many of these items that we've recovered are also going to be involved in cases with the city of Meridian," said Calhoun. "And we are working closely with their investigators to determine what property may belong to individuals that live in the city on cases that they are working through."

Calhoun says the investigation is ongoing and that neither of the men have been charged in the case.

Great Job By agents and commander of the East Ms Drug Task Force by the way along with Deputy Russell who caught the first suspect. Oh I wonder if they going to say anything on TV about Lindsey Hall getting arrested for Domestic Violence. I kinda doubt that. But if he was running for cancer It would he all over the news for a week. Hummm
