Chief Justice Bill Waller, Jr., spoke to the Forest Rotary Club Wednesday.
Scott County is one of three counties in the state taking part in a pilot program designed to give the public better access to court records.
Waller says the new system will allow attorneys and the public the opportunity to get information on the Internet.
"We are optimistic about how the system is going," said Waller. "And so far, all tests have been very positive."
Waller says the program could be expanded to other counties in the state by next year.
