A federal judge has dismissed charges against a man affiliated with his parent's construction company, which was accused of ripping off Hurricane Katrina victims.
William C. Jordan and his parents, Gary F. Jordan and Joyce E. Jordan, were indicted in 2008 for work performed by Jordan Construction in Pearl River County.
U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden dismissed charges against William Jordan Wednesday at the request of prosecutors.
Court records didn't say why prosecutors asked for the dismissal. However, Gary Jordan recently pleaded guilty to the charges.
The indictment says Jordan Construction didn't do the work it was hired to do or didn't do it properly.
