To educational consultant: That is an excellent idea!!! Very few of the parents teachers need to see on these conference days even bother to show up. The ones that come usually are the ones you have contact with on a regular basis anyway. The numbers that come does not justify the loss of instruction time.

I thought to make a full educational day a school could attend 4 hours of school. If the schools attached 5 to 10 minutes at the end of each school day it would be much better than extending an already difficult school year. The 5 to 10 minutes would quickly add up to the needed time. You may have to cancel your parent/teacher day, but I am sure parents would understand given the situation.

Why to they go to school past MCT test anyway? Make up days or not??? No one teaches new material after testing.

What is the rationale of going an extra day in June when we are already making up the THREE snow days? The extra day in June will make FOUR days. Contract days are 187 days not 188.
