Officers have arrested Sean Edward Dietz of Biloxi on a charge of possession of child pornography.
The Sun Herald reports the 22-year-old Dietz is being held at the Harrison County on a $25,000 bond.
Attorney General Jim Hood did not release details but said his cyber-crime division handled the case with help from the Harrison County Sheriff's Department and the Biloxi Police Department.
If convicted, Dietz faces up to 40 years in prison. It wasn't immediately clear if Dietz has an attorney.
The attorney general's office announced a second arrest Thursday for possession of child pornography.
42-year-old Samuel Fletcher of Long Beach was arrested Wednesday by investigators with the cyber-crime division with assistance from the Long Beach Police Department. He was charged with three counts of possession of child porn.
"As we promised with the formation of this task force, we are going after those people in this state who are downloading child porn," said Hood.
