Beautiful skies Saturday made for the perfect weather for the second and final day of the 2010 Loose Caboose Festival in Newton.

Crowds filled downtown Newton as they explored the various activities throughout the festival. Adults were able to navigate all of the arts and crafts. Plus, they had the chance to enjoy the antique car show.

"We've had a great day here at the Loose Caboose Festival for 2010. We're right here in front of the barbecue festival, the barbecue contest that's actually about to wrap up with the final judging. I think we've had a wonderful crowd we could not ask for better weather," says Tyler McCaughn with the Newton Chamber of Commerce.

The festival also provided entertainment for children of all ages as well. For the young at heart, there was a kid zone and a carnival.

"Here at the festival we have a kid zone and a carnival. Well at the kid zone we exceeded last year's numbers of kids by lunch and that's by lunch. We've had such beautiful weather. And then with the carnival going on, the carnival director has actually told us that he has exceeded the number of kids that have come through his carnival over the past 6 to 7 months.," says McCaughn.

This marked the 7th Annual Loose Caboose Festival for the city of Newton.
