Young girls ages zero to twelve competed Saturday in a major competition.

The Tiny Miss America Pageant is going on right now in Meridian at the Northeast Inn and Conference Center. The girls will compete in areas of beauty and sportswear for the title. There are 30 girls competing today. 39 competed yesterday in the Natural Pageant.

One of those little girls competing today in Tiny Miss America is a nationally known pageant queen. 4-year-old Eden Wood has been featured on the TLC series, "Toddlers and Tiaras'. Her mother, Mickey Null, describes how Wood was chosen for the television series.

"They picked her, saw a picture, and actually contacted us. We did our first episode last July. She was the season premiere and then we were the first little girl to be asked to be followed twice. We finished this second season up as the season finale about three weeks ago." says Null.

Wood had a book signing Saturday before the pageant for her book, 'From Cradle to Crown'. Believe it or not, she even has a doll made in her image.

Here is a look at the top winners of the pageant. Ramsi Kittrell won Mini Queen for the 0 to 5 age group. Kenzie Thomas took the title of Mini Queen for the 6 and up. And Eden Wood was named Supreme Queen of the Tiny Miss America Pageant. She had the highest score of the entire pageant.
