Anderson Regional Medical Center has named a new CEO. Ray Humphreys assumes the post May 1.
He'll be coming from Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Miss., where he currently serves as CEO.
“Ray Humphreys brings a wealth of experience to Anderson and the board is excited to bring a person with his integrity to the table to carry out our revitalized vision,” said Dr. Joe Anderson, chairman of the Anderson Board of Directors.
“Amazingly, I am coming full circle to my leadership position at Anderson Regional Medical Center,” said Humphreys, a Philadelphia native. “I was born at this fine facility, and the founder of the hospital, Dr. Jeff Anderson, was the doctor who delivered me.”
Humphreys has served as the CEO of Delta Regional Medical Center since 2001. He previously served as chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg from 1976 to 2000.
