Two people were injured and patrons at a local restaurant were jolted by a two-vehicle accident in Meridian Tuesday.
The accident happened about 1:30 p.m. on 18th Avenue, near The Rib Shack.
Officials say a truck rear-ended an SUV, then rammed into the business, sending customers scrambling.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the restaurant was hurt.
"I saw him and I ran to the door and there was nothing I could do, so I just told everyone to get out of the way," said Ronnie Shack, owner of The Rib Shack.
The wreck is under investigation by the Meridian Police Department.
