St. Patrick's Day is traditionally associated with the color green and the luck of the Irish.
People all over this area celebrated those traditions Wednesday, including residents of Silverleaf Manor.
Officials say it's a good opportunity for residents to celebrate some traditions and have a little fun.
"We have had all kinds of St. Patrick's events going on all week, from rainbow parfaits to Irish coffee," said Stephanie Cook. "Today we've had events ranging from a parade, and right now, we have a
5-piece band called Thirst that's performing for our residents."
St. Patrick is the most recognized patron saint of Ireland. He's known as the man who brought Christianity to that country in the fifth century.
