No More Charges Against Robinson

Kemper County Sheriff James Moore says he has decided not to press charges against a local animal sanctuary owner who had all of her animals taken from her.

Virginia Robinson is the owner of Raven's Hope Animal Sanctuary in Preston.

The sheriff's department, the Mississippi Animal Rescue League, and Humane Society seized all of the animals there Mar. 9, citing inhumane living conditions for them.

Robinson was charged with disorderly conduct at the time, but Moore said Friday no other charges will be filed.

Catina: It is you who is clueless to the real motives of Ms. Robinson. She was in it for the donated money because she didn't want to work. She didn't give a flip about any of those animals. And you are just one more of her gullible, backwoods enablers. Not all that hard for her to fool you; based on your writing skills, or the lack thereof, it is clear "skoolin" was never a priority of yours, nor is common sense. Paddle faster, I hear the banjos.

Kemper County and their "clueless" law enforcement at their best. That's right.....Don't press charges in a case when they are most certainly deserved but lock up innocent people and procecute them on baseless accusations, fabricated evidence made up by their worhtless, lying deputies. Sheriff Moore you should be ashamed at yourself AND your department AND your corrupt county. You shall answer to your maker and then what will you say then?

Everybody has comments to make but noone was tryin to help .This lady had a no kill policy she was tryin to save everyone of those animals by herself.Anyone with animals knows that once u get one animal MARL or NO OTHER AGENCY is coming to help u your just stuck with these animals .She would tell u that she couldn't take care of any more animals .It was because of all the stupid people in kemper county that kept droppin off animals on her an she was doing everything that she could to continue to take care of all these dogs by herself. So for all of these people that is running their mouth an dont no half of what they are talking about they should get all the facts before they start talkin about Ms.Virginia.I know these things for myself an i have seen her struggle to try an take care of all these animals by herself. No one is going to help u with all these animals like i said MARL or no one else .I'm glad she is stress free now because she sure couldn't get any help from no one before.

Wow Sheriff, what a bad decision you made. Why feel sorry for this woman now. Just because you'll took all the dogs away, I guess you did your job. And this job isn't worth wasting our tax paying dollars. Wow Sheriff.

Not exactly a deterrent for the next nut job in MS who decides to start collecting animals for fun & profit, now is it. So there ya have it folks, just fill out your nonprofit paperwork, send it to the state, start collecting animals left and right and adopting them out for profit and when you find yourself overwhelmed, no longer able to keep up with the mess you've made, start dumping the animals at other shelters or just let them drop dead on your front lawn. And when you're FINALLY caught all you have to do is poop your pants, pay a fine and you're good to go. You can even pick up some more dogs on the way home from jail and start the whole process all over again, confident in knowing that all you'll ever get is a slap on the wrist and your mug on the evening news! When is this state gonna wake up???

Are you freakin kidding me?!?!? I guess the cost of rescuing and treating the sick and dilapidated animals has to be wrote off??? The cost of euthanizing the ones to sick to be treated?? Not to mention the dead and decaying dogs found inside and out??? Not to mention she's still begging money from people!!! I can't believe the worst case in years is being let go??? It took hundreds of dollars to treat and transport those poor animals. This just shows her she can keep lying and using people!!!
