Second Suspect Charged in Kemper Shooting

A second man wanted for questioning in a murder in Kemper County turned himself in to authorities late Wednesday night.

Shaffez Alexander is the second suspect to be charged in connection with the Mar. 25 death of 37-year-old Joseph McNeil in Porterville on Howard Johnson Road. Another man was injured.

The first person to be charged is a juvenile. Kemper County Sheriff James Moore has not released his name.

Moore said he believes Alexander will help lead investigators to a third suspect.
