Flossie Stallworth of Quitman is one of several ladies in our viewing area to reach the age of 100 this year.
Mrs. Stallworth has stayed active in her later years and has many friends in Clarke County.
Among her many accomplishments, Stallworth organized a Girl Scout troop in the 1940s.
"I love the Lord, first of all, and He has really just been my friend for a hundred years," said Mrs. Stallworth. "And I love people. I love everybody. And I have lived a good life and a clean life. And I guess I've eaten right."
This centenarian says she still feels young at heart.
A large number of her family were in town this weekend for a big party at the Quitman Depot, that was also attended by many friends in the community.
