Laurel Woman to be Sentenced for Killing Husband

A Jones County woman will be sentenced May 17, after being convicted of manslaughter in the 2005 death of her husband.

Belinda Boleyn was ordered to be under house arrest after a jury convicted her of manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Michael Wayne Boleyn, the woman's husband, was shot three times at the couple's home in Laurel Apr. 5, 2005.

Belinda Boleyn had claimed self-defense in the shooting.
