Central United Methodist Church held its annual St. Jude Children's Parade on 23rd Avenue in downtown Meridian.
The church's preschool program has been raising funds for the hospital every year, while allowing their children to have fun and be creative.
Each classroom had a theme and won prizes for their decorations, spirit, and parade float.
Preschool director Glenda Thomas says the daycare feels a personnel connection with the children's hospital.
"Over the years, we've had three children who have had some form of children's cancer," said Thomas. "And all of them were helped either by directly going to St. Jude's or through the research that St. Jude has done."
The children have been asking for donations all week, and the church is still taking donations.
