Clear skies allowed for maximum entertainment at this year's Philadelphia Ham Jam Arts Festival.
The festival kicked off Friday and continued with just as much excitement Saturday for two days of fun and games in the downtown area of Philadelphia. People of all ages could find something to do throughout the festival. Kids were treated to bungee jumps, inflatables, a rock wall, petting zoo and pony rides. Everyone else could also enjoy different foods and arts and crafts.
"We've got some vendors here. They've got some funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy. They've got some chocolate covered bananas, chicken fajitas, chocolate covered strawberries, all sorts of things. We've got vendors here selling all toys and games, different drawings for different things," says David Talley, of Magic and Balloons.
The Ham Jam Arts Festival was named 2009 Large Festival/Event of the Year by the Mississippi Tourism Association.
