Nell Woolf Hits Major Milestone

Not everyone has the chance to say, 'I'm turning 100-years old today'. Well, one local woman gets to do just that.

Nell Woolf celebrated this major milestone, her 100th birthday Sunday. Woolf is a resident of Sumter Health and Rehabilitation.

She is a retired school teacher, where she taught in the Sumter County School System.

Woolf has two nephews, Tim Walker of Meridian, Mississippi, and Johnny Walkers, of Dixons Mills, Alabama. She also has one niece, Janet Ormond of Phenix City, Alabama.

Woolf shared her secret to living a long life.

"Tell them to drink a lot of coffee," exclaims Woolf.

Woolf also has numerous great nieces and nephews. Her actual birthday is April 19th.
