High school juniors had the opportunity Thursday to sign up for college classes at Meridian Community College.
It's part of MCC's dual credit registration. Students earn both high school and college credits at the same time.
Academic subjects and career and technical programs are available.
"Twenty-five dollars per class is why it's a great deal," said MCC's Laura Lewis. "They're not paying full tuition for the class. So it's good for the parents. They can come out and get their students started early. They can take about two classes per semester is what we tell them. And then hopefully they'll come out and as far as being a freshman in school, they'll have a lot under their belts. So it's really good."
The next dual registration date is April 27. Call the admissions office at MCC,
601-484-8632 for more information.
