One of the most delicious traditions of the spring in Meridian is back, the annual Hamasa Shriners Vidalia onion sale.
The sale is a fundraiser for the Shriners, which helps the local group with its annual projects.
"We'll be out here Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. each day," said Benny Eggler of the Hamasa Shriners. "If you can't get out here during the times, just call us and we will stick around and sell you some onions. "
The onions cost $10.00 per bag. The Shriners will set up outside the Temple daily until the bags are all sold.
